Brent and Arabian Heavy Crudes

This study compares deep cut incentives for two major export crudes- Brent and Arabian Heavy. Brent (38.3 ° API) is a typical light crude, while Arabian Heavy is a typical heavy crude (27.4 ° API). The computer simulations done for this study use assays from the Oil and Gas Journal (Feb. 6, 1995 and December 2, 1991). The pertinent physical properties are contained in the following graphs:
